Abstract
Polyphase composition of SCWA-ANO-4 and SCWA-TsL-11 samples has been confirmed with the help of the IR spectral investigation: absorption bands of iron and chromium oxides and calcite have been detected. The absorption bands whose maxima are at 1748 and 1381 cm-1characterize stretching vibrations of carbonate-carboxylate groups which appearance is due to the oxidation with air oxygen of CO formed on the oxide surface as a result of the electrode burning.
