Pill-induced esophageal injuries

Abstract
Pill-induced esophageal injuries are seldom bringing up issue in medical literature. In most cases it is a result of redundant staying of oral drug in esophagus what leads to local changes. We know currently about over one hundred drugs which can lead do esophageal injury. Symptomatic form of disease relates tendency to spontaneous disappearance. Sometimes, unfortunately complications are seen like stricture, bleeding, per-forations and fatal cases. Principal doubt in prevention is recommending that patients should sip oral drug with a cup of water.
