Pilot study to verify: Validity, reliability and trustworthiness of the Questionnaire: Emotional State of Single Mothers

Abstract
The validity and reliability of an instrument is measured by its precision of what it wants to measure, seeking results that can be systematically replicated in similar situations in different contexts, through a pilot study. The objective of the study was to determine the validity, reliability and reliability of the questionnaire on the emotional stateof single mothers, estimate the variables and their impact on the emotional and behavioral state in different facets that they fulfill in the performance of their multiple roles. The method used was quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, instrumental, descriptive, explanatory and correlational, for the validity of the construct, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis was used, the scale was applied to 372 participants with an average between 20-25 years, in turn an expert judgment analysis is applied; to determine reliability. The results obtained demonstrate acceptable validity and reliability of (α = .81); In the analysis of internal consistency of the items, an alpha of (α = .698) was obtained and Bartlett's test of sphericity was significant (p < .001), the scores obtained were positively correlated with several related measuresof the emotional state of the subjects single mothers by choice
