ПИТАННЯ НОВОЇІСТОРІЇ КРАЇН ЗАХІДНОЇ ЄВРОПИ В ПРАЦЯХ СУЧАСНИХ УКРАЇНСЬКИХ ІСТОРИКІВ

Abstract
У статті розглядаються питання нової історії країн Західної Європи в працяхсучасних українських істориків. Здійснена спроба визначити основні напрямки вивчення наукових проблем історії західноєвропейських держав ХVІ – ХІХ ст.в сучасній українській історіографії. Аналіз доробку українських істориків надає можливість з’ясувати діяльність наукових центрів дослідження зазначеної проблематики в Україні, і той вітчизняний науковий потенціал, який задіяний у вивченні важливих аспектів історичного процесу в країнах Західної Європи повинен більш потужно заявити про себе, чим збагатить всесвітню історичну науку. The article examines the issues of Western European countries’ modern history in the contemporary Ukrainian historians’ works. The author attempted to define the main trends of studying scientific problems of Western European state of the XVI – XIX centuries in the contemporary Ukrainian historiography. The analysis of the Ukrainian historians’ groundwork enables to define the activity of the scientific centres studying the mentioned problems in Ukraine. Also the native scientific potential engaged in examining important aspects of historical process in Western European countries should assert itself more energetically and this will enrich the universal historical science. There is growing scientific interest in studying the issues of the modern Western European countries’ history in Ukrainian historiography. In the end of the XX – early XXI centuries there is increasing number of the published scientific works in which the historians elucidate the issues of early-modern period of Western European history. In this connection it’s important to analyse the studies devoted to the given problems, the causes of such scientific interest growth, the tendencies appeared in the contemporary Ukrainian historical science. The contemporary Ukrainian scientists show considerable interest in examining the issues of the modern history of France (V. Adadurov), England and English-German relations (L. Pytlyovana), Spain (B. Chuma) and others. Such intensive scientific activity concerning studying Western European countries’ modern history enabled to assemble the first in Ukraine training manual for the native Universities’ students of “History” speciality. The problems of early-modern period of Western European history are most effectively examined by Lviv researchers. This fact enables to admit their leading position in the development of this trend in Ukrainian historiography.
