Abstract
It is substantiated that there is a need to revise the list of positions of politically exposed persons, indicators of family members and close associates of politically exposed persons. In addition, the author outlines considerations regarding differentiation of the initial risk of politically exposed persons, their family members and close associates, as well as of the period of application of enhanced customer due diligence for former politically exposed persons.
