Abstract
Рассматривается глава «Бездна» из книги всемирно известного социолога П. А. Сорокина «Листки из русского дневника». В главе приводятся данные о революционных событиях в России 1917 г., участником которых оказался автор. Характеризуется политическая практика П. А. Сорокина в 1917−1918 гг. Освещается деятельность и ее основные результаты созданного в Сыктывкаре Центра «Наследие» имени Питирима Сорокина.
