Plant extracts application in the process of nanosized silver preparation
Journal Title: CHEMIK nauka-technika-rynek - Year 2014, Vol 68, Issue 1
Abstract
Valuable properties of nanosilver caused that it is one of the most desirable nanomateials. Its biocidal properties make it is applied in many areas including cosmetics, medicine, medical engineering, construction, agriculture industry and others. Due to the fact that the preparation of nanosilver brings many benefits, many ways of its acquiring have been developed. In addition to the known physical and chemical methods, in recent times, environmentally friendly methods are increasingly important. A review of methods for the preparation of nanosilver using plant extracts has been described.
