Początki polskiego ruchu wolnomyślicielskiego

Abstract
The article discusses the genealogy of the Polish organized free-thinking movement. It presents the circumstances of the creation of the first two native groups in the early twentieth century: the Polish League of Free Thought, operating in France and the Association of Polish Freethinkers, created in Warsaw. Presents the statutes of these organizations and recalls the program articles of leading activists: L. Krzywicki, I. Moszczeńska and A. Niemojewski, published in the then freethinking journal ("Pan-teonie" and "Niepodległości"). He emphasizes the most important ideas of these gatherings: opposition to dogmatism, especially in the religious edition; the laiciza-tion of social life, with special attention to secular education; world-view tolerance; and the specific connection of the Polish freethought with the national liberation issue.
