Abstract
The article describes in detail the elements of didactics of the auxiliary sciences of history of the 19th and 20th centuries in the Jan Dlugosz Academy in Częstochowa: teaching subjects, literature and learning programs. The author starts from the presentation of the specifics of the teaching subjects and then through the conceptual assumptions and forms and realities of the work comes to the content of the program and their implementation. The author sees the goal of the presented program as a show of selected auxiliary sciences of history of the 19th and 20th centuries, so that the student can become an active historian, open to regional sources.
