Podchów larw troci wędrownej i łososia atlantyckiego z zastosowaniem paszy sztucznej, zooplanktonu i nektonu
Journal Title: Roczniki Naukowe Polskiego Związku Wędkarskiego - Year 2012, Vol 25, Issue
Abstract
Survival rate and growth parameters of Atlantic salmon and sea trout larvae during rearing were determined. The rearing was performed in three groups: (1) fish fed on zooplankton, (2) fish fed on larvae of nekton and (3) fish fed on prepared pellet food. In the beginning of the rearing, the highest growth value was noted for the group fed on zooplankton both in the case of Atlantic salmon and sea trout. However at the end of the rearing the value was highest for the group fed on pellets. During the rearing Atlantic salmon was characterized by higher survival and faster growth than sea trout in each group. The general conclusion is that the type of diet supplied in the period of the rearing can have an important role in training the behaviour of the fish.
