Abstract
Social innovations are significant nowadays in the local community development. Main goal of this paper is evaluate effectiveness of financial support from the Human Resources and Employment Operational Programme in 2007–2013 in area of social innovations in chosen regions (Moravian-Silesian, Plzen, Hradec Kralove and Usti). Primary research data were used in comparison with socioeconomic indicators of those regions. A classification of created social innovation according their type, creator, is made in relationship to priority axis of the programme. Positive relationship between region and socially oriented innovations was found. Added value of this paper is in first use of Caulier-Grice classification of social innovation in Czech conditions and a simulation of SROI impact of realized social innovations.
