Poem Poetica of the Sufism

Abstract
This paper discusses the poetics of the Sufism the poetry in a comparison with poetry other than Sufism. In the same way, this study presents major features of the poetics of Sufi poem and non- Sufi poem. After analyzing the poetics of the other poems in general terms, this study examines the art understanding of Sufi poem in details. Then, it touches upon Sufi poem’s effect on the Turkish literature as well as its place through explaining the reason and the way of Sufis for writing poems. Following this, it talks about the symbolic language Sufi poem uses and gives a Sufi poem example which expresses poetical difference between Sufi poem and other type of poem. The poem in Sufism is that the person who merges with Allah reflects his devotion to Him, because of this ecstasy resulted from experiencing Him, through his all cells. This integrated understanding happens by the means of joy or to stand in awe of or realizing his/ her “nothingness” in a destitute way. Allah remembers the human according to the state that which of these remembrance types the poem influences the person in his/her heart world. Therefore, poetics of the Sufis, from whichever belief or philosophy they are, is totally different from the other poets’ poem understanding.
