Policy and development of alternative energy sources in Poland and in Europe, with particular reference to the Federal Republic of Germany over the period 1997-2016

Abstract

The issue of constraints regarding carbon dioxide emissions developed by the European Union states encourages reflection on the future of renewable energy sources in Europe. The following article will attempt to synthetically present policy and directions of development of alternative energy sources in Poland and Europe over the period 1997-2016.
