Politica de coeziune la nivelul Uniunii Europene

Abstract
Principalele elemente abordate în cadrul articolului sunt obiectivele şi mecanismele politicii de coeziune, evoluţia alocărilor bugetare, precum şi reformele propuse de Comisia Europeană în domeniul politicii de coeziune pentru perioada 2014-2020. S-a apreciat ca necesară analiza evoluţiei alocărilor anuale (din cadrul bugetului Uniunii Europene) destinate politicii de coeziune, pentru o mai bună înţelegere a modului în care fondurile pentru politica respectivă au fost gestionate în perioada 2007-2013. Politica de coeziune, conform Comisiei Europene, îşi va menţine rolul vital în procesul de stimulare a dezvoltării regiunilor şi Statelor Membre şi în cadrul perioadei de programare 2014-2020, contribuind la atingerea obiectivelor stabilite în cadrul Strategiei Europa 2020.
