Political interview as a verbal representation of the image of Ukrainian politics

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the group of informational speech genres of Ukrainian political discourse – a political interview. Representative forms of political interviews are considered, the classification of dialogical texts of the informational type is proposed, and political interviews are analyzed in view of the presentation of the image characteristics of Ukrainian politicians in them. Information, image, argumentative and provocative varieties of political interviews are singled out.
