POLYSYSTEM PARADIGM OF THE CURRENT ROLE OF GOLD

Abstract
The article presents a retrospective analysis of the positions of gold in the existing Jamaica currency system, which simplified gold parities and the official price of gold, demonetizing it. The possibility of modification of the world monetary order, in which the status of gold as a financial asset may lose its relevance, is considered. The structure of reserves of the countries with the largest volumes of gold in the physical and percentile sense is analyzed. A correlation analysis of the value of gold and US dollar inflation was carried out. The demand for gold, the peculiarities of its extraction is investigated. Predicted prospective directions of gold utilization for the next 30 years.
