Possibilities of Gaining Competitive Advantage by IT Companies in 21st century

Abstract
The article presents sources of competitive advantage for IT companies from the theoretical and practical perspective. The author describes the characteristics of the Polish IT sector and its division into three main areas. Depending on the area, different solutions are proposed that can be used to gain and develop an advantage over competitors in the market.
