POTATO RING ROT PATHOGEN DETECTION BY POLYMERASE CHAIN REACTION IN POTATO TUBERS
Journal Title: Журнал ÑтреÑÑ-физиологии и биохимии - Year 2008, Vol 4, Issue 3
Abstract
Bacterial ring rot caused by Clavibacter michiganensis ssp. sepedonicus is a widespread disease of potato resulting in significant economic lost in agriculture and seed growing. A latent form of this infection makes difficulties for diagnostics and facilitates the quick disease propagation. Polymerase chain reaction is the best method for the disease control.

BIO-ACCUMULATION AND RELEASE OF MERCURY IN VIGNA MUNGO (L.) HEPPER SEEDLINGS
Effect of mercury on the seedling of Vigna mungo seedlings was studied by culturing the seedlings in Hoagland medium artificially contaminated with 5 and 10mM Mercuric Chloride. Histochemical localization of the mercury...
Studying of Salinity Stress Effect on Germination, Proline, Sugar, Protein, Lipid and Chlorophyll Content in Purslane (Portulaca oleracea L.) Leaves
Approximately 30% of country regions are under influence of salt and one of the main important methods for increasing of hectare performance in salt soils, using of resistant plant against with salt such as medicinal ann...
Dynamics of Pinus sylvestris L. needles activity in Predbaikal’ye forests
The study was aimed to analyse changes in peroxidase activity of common pine needles throughout the year. The needles of the 1-st, 2-nd and 3-d years were collected. Total activity of guaiacol-dependent peroxi...
Tissue specific responses alter the biomass accumulation in wheat under gradual and sudden salt stress
Salinity is one the major limiting environmental factors which has negative side effects on crop production. The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences between the gradual and sudden salt stress effects...
Stress induced alterations in pre-pubertal ovarian follicular development in rat
The objective of the study was to find out whether stress experienced during neo-natal period alters the timing of formation of pre-antral and antral follicles and if so, whether pre-treatment with CRH receptor antagonis...
