Potencjalne możliwości immunoglobuliny E w kreowaniu reakcji autoimmunologicznych

Abstract
IgE can participate in many immune responses and exhibit diversified functions in chronic autoimmune diseases as an autoreactive IgE that reacts with internal antigens. The list of internal antigens for IgE continues to expand, but few have been identified so far in classical autoimmune diseases. The results of recent years' research clearly suggest the importance of autoreactive IgE in the pathogenesis and course of classic autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus, Hashimoto's disease, pemphigus and rheumatoid arthritis. The effect of autoreactive IgE on the immune response is probably based on switching activity of antigen presenting cells towards phenomena controlled by Th2 cells, in terms of autoreactive B lymphocyte and target cells for IgE, i.e. mastocytes and basophils function. ............................... IgE może uczestniczyć w wielu reakcjach immunologicznych oraz wykazywać zróżnicowane funkcje w przewlekłych chorobach z autoagresji, jako autoreaktywna IgE, która reaguje z antygenami wewnętrznymi. Lista antygenów wewnętrznych dla IgE ciągle rozszerza się, ale niewiele z nich zostało do tej pory zidentyfikowanych w klasycznych schorzeniach autoimmunologicznych. Wyniki badań ostatnich lat dobitnie sugerują znaczenie autoreaktywnych IgE w patogenezie i przebiegu klasycznych chorób autoimmunologicznych takich jak toczeń układowy, choroba Hashimoto, pęcherzyca i reumatoidalne zapalenie stawów. Wpływ autoreaktywnej IgE na odpowiedź immunologiczną polega, prawdopodobnie, na przełączeniu aktywności komórek prezentujących antygen w kierunku zjawisk kontrolowanych przez limfocyty Th2, w zakresie funkcji autoreaktywnych limfocytów B oraz komórek docelowych dla IgE to jest mastocytów i bazofilów.
