POWER LOSSES OF GEAR SYSTEMS
Journal Title: Проблеми тертя та зношування - Year 2017, Vol 77, Issue
Abstract
This paper provides a review of experimental investigations and available models of gear load-independent power losses (windage losses, churning losses and air-oil pocketing power losses) for spur, helical, and bevel gears. The aim of the review is to provide a comprehensive compilation of published information on gear load-independent power losses to assist gearbox designers in identifying relevant exper-imental and modeling information. While it is clear from the review of published work that the rotational speed, gear geometrical parameters, degree of confinement, and density of the fluid surrounding the gear are important, the degree of effect and general solutions for reducing power loss are less clear. The motivation for this is that for some applications, this power loss can be a significant component, particu-larly lightly loaded high-speed applications.

ENERGYLOADING OF VARIOUS TYPES OF DISCS IN BRAKE DEVICES OF LIFTING AND TRANSPORTING MACHINES (PART TWO)
The accident-free and safe operation of lifting and transporting machines largely depends on the reliable operation of the friction pairs of brake devices. The experience of operating has showed that the wear-friction ch...
WEAR RESISTANCE INCREASING OF THE PARTS RESTORED BY ELECTRIC CONTACT SURFACING
The wear resistance of the parts that were restored by the method of electric contact surfacing with heat-treated steel tapes is considered in the article. A comparative evaluation of wear resistance of the samples that...
OPERATING PROPERTIES OF ANTIFRICTION MATERIALS BASED ON DISPERSION-STRENGTHED COPPER BY USING THEM AS CURRENT COLLECTORS OF TRAMS
The tribotechnical and operational properties of composite materials based on dispersion- strengthened copper were investigated in comparison with the known ones used as current col- lectors in electric public transport....
INVENTORY OF CONTAMINATION SUBSTANCES EMISSIONS FROM FUEL TANKS IN FUELS AND LUBRICNTS STORAGES
This article shows how contamination emissions in storages calculated. The imperfection of different methods of emissions inventory was identified. It was found that regulations are supplemented by new criterias. In this...
