Abstract
In article is presented late medieval falchion from Siarzewo nearly Ciechocinek (Aleksandrów distr.). Its charakteristic element is ornamented guard to protect the user’s hand against the blows of the enemy. Due to method of their attachment, similar elements rarely preserved at falchions. Discussed weapon should be classified as typical falchion, occurred in 15th c. Poland.
