Practical Medical Training: Innovation Way of Readiness Formation of Junior Medical Specialists for Professional Self-Improvement

Abstract

In the article much attention is given to the need to improve the system of practical medical training. The author's vision of practical medical training is provided. A powerful source of readiness of young specialists in the the field of "Health Care" to the self-improvement of practical training is the introduction of innovative educational technologies. The innovative methods of forming readiness for self-improvement in the practical medical training are proposed. The term ''portfolio'' is analyzed and the method of application of the technology during the practical training is described. Working with a portfolio of PPT (professional practical training) allows students to acquire the ability to learn to develop a sense of responsibility for the process of training, awareness and self-esteem results of practical medical training, helps to focus on what you know and can do, and promotes awareness of student need of revision some material from a particular topic, stimulates professional motivation, activates cognitive, information and search activity, the ability to work with different kinds of educational and professional sources. Also the meaning of ''Multimedia technology'' and audiovisual training are described. The emphasis is on the use of video during the practical medical training. Consequently, the organization of professional practical training with the introduction of technology of the portfolio and the use of independent audiovisual training as part of Multimedia technology allows to move to a new level, because to understand and learn new material at the media level is much easier and faster. The presence of such technology can bring an element of interest in the study of a topic, just to diversify the organization of educational process, expand forms of lessons, help to create actively managed communication environment in which the professional practical training can be done. Thus, the effectiveness of practical medical training depends on the skill and ability of teachers to use strategies relating to innovative teaching techniques.
