PRACTICE OF THE USAGE OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE IMMERSION PROGRAMS IN THE US SCHOOLS

Abstract

Foreign Language Immersion Programs as one of the types of bilingual programs are analyzed in the article. These programs are widely practiced in the educational process of the US schools. In Ukraine bilingual education only begins to develop, and theorists and practices of the bilingual teaching must intensively study experience of other countries, including the USA, with the purpose of reformation and modernization of native school education within the framework of the bilingual teaching.
