PRAGMATICS OF PREFACES AND POSTFACES TO POLISH TRANSLATIONS OF WORKS BY NIKOLAI GOGOL

Abstract
In order to reinterpret the meaning of the allographic prefaces and postfaces in current literary communication, the new translations of works of Nikolai Gogol n Poland are analyzed. Recent years saw of a number of new translations of the works of Gogol i n Poland. The article aims at analyzing the pragmatics of prefaces and postfaces. A prerequisite for the emergence of a number of new translations of works of Gogol in Poland was the lack of literary communication «Selected Passages from Correspondence with Friends» and the need for understanding the figure «late» Gogol. Translations are made at the level of creative reception, publication accompanied by detailed preface and epilogue. Preface and epilogue rethinking the present problems of the Polish-Russian literary communication. Analyzed certificate reception are part of a Gogol text. Updated values for M. Hogol Ukrainian-Polish and RussianPolish intercultural dialogue. The results of the investigation can be used for the further study of Polish-Russian literary communication.
