Praktyczna aplikacja In Motion Charging w Gdyni: trolejbusy w obsłudze linii autobusowych
Journal Title: Autobusy. Technika, Eksploatacja, Systemy Transportowe - Year 2016, Vol 199, Issue 9
Abstract
Overnight Charging and fast Oportunity Charging are currently the two most popular systems for charging electric buses. Despite existing multiple test installations, neither of these two systems has not gained a clear endorsement of users. An alternative is to charge vehicles in motion, so-called Charging In Motion, which combines the advantages of communication trolleybus and bus electric: the main power supply batteries are traction, but charging is done on the move without having to stop the vehicle.
