Abstract
Analysis of issues of the health and safety (OSH) at work was an aim of the article with reference to persons employed to civil law agreements. The article presents the issues of safety and health (OSH), medical examinations and training in relation to the self-employed. Paper discusses the range of operators, with which the employer is obliged to provide safe and healthy working conditions, has been extended by attaching to persons employed under civil law contracts, persons engaged in economic activity in the workplace or in the designated place. These duties are also burdening entrepreneurs not being employers. (original abstract)
