Prediction of Work Parameters in a Cold Mill Using Neural Network
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Dunarea de Jos" din Galati. Fascicula IX, Metalurgie si Stiinta Materialelor - Year 2006, Vol 29, Issue 1
Abstract
The accurate prediction of work parameters is essential for a quality product. A mathematical model is used for parameters calculus. It is important to directly predict the roll force and the other parameters and to compute a corrective coefficient. Combining the network of work parameters and the mathematical model grove up the possibility to obtain parameter who give a new quality for laminates strip.

Aspects Regarding the Tradition of Bell Manufacture and Use
The paper presents the casting art of bells, their spiritual significance, as well as their evolution over time. The bells may be made of both metallic or/and nonmetallic materials, of various shapes and sizes. While pro...
Numerical Study on Ballistic Phenomena - Part Two
The study of ballistic phenomena (interior ballistics, exterior ballistics and terminal ballistics) is an activity that involves the use of complex and at the same time very expensive equipment. Also, another aspect wort...
Experimental Research of Sintered Porous Materials of Bronze Powders
Porous sample were fabricated by sintering of bronze ( Cu Sn10) with different particle size range. The paper investigates the influence of the particle size distribution, temperature and sintering time on the structural...
Industrial Research in Thicker Heavy Plates (70-80 mm) HSLA Steel Micro-Alloyed with Mo-NbTi Thermo-Mechanical Control Process in ArcelorMittal Galati
Thermomechanical rolling (TMR or TMCP) is a special rolling process resulting in an extremely high-strength, fine-grained substructure which simultaneously offers very good toughness and cold formability. TM products hav...
The Electromagnetic Proprieties of Hybrid Composites
This research investigates the electromagnetic behaviour of hybrid composites with heterogeneous epoxy matrix. The hybrid composites were formed by the wet lay-up method and were made of three types of simple plain fabri...
