PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION OF THE FOREIGN ECONOMIC ENVIRONMENT OF GENERAL CARGO PORTS IN THE GDANSK AGLOMERATION

Abstract
In this article the authors presents economic and political situation in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe such as: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Byelorussia, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Ukraine. Foreign trade of those countries will be one of important determinants of economic development in the Gdansk aglomeration, especially the seaport.
