PREPARATION, CHARACTERIZATION, AND STUDY OF NANOPARTICLES COPOLYMER USING POLYMERIC SURFACTANT

Abstract
Polymeric nanoparticles (PNPs) are defined as particulate dispersions or solid particles with size in the range of 10-1000nm. In this study, the Poly Aniline/poly Acrylonitril (PAn/PNr) copolymer was prepared by copolymerization of Aniline monomer and Acrylonitril monomer using benzoyle peroxide and potassium iodate as an oxidant twice times. Firstly by use sodium dodecylsulphate (SDS), (commercial surfactant ) and the secondly by uses the [2,2'-(18,25-dioxo-17,26-dioxa-20,23- diazadotetracontane-20,23-diyl) diaceticacid], Polymeric surfactant (PS).[1] The copolymers were characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Finally, Study the electrical conductivity and thermal analysis of these copolymers. The results indicate that the intensity of peaks for (FTIR), morphology and particle size from the (SEM), and electrical conductivity of products are dependent on the type of surfactant.
