Preparation of Lead-free Conductive Silver Paste and Effect on Cell Property

Abstract
To solve the serious environmental pollution problem caused by lead conductive silver paste, the lead-free glass frit with different softening points were synthesized by adjusting the matching of glass frit. Then, the lead-free silver paste was synthesized and its effect on the photoelectric properties of silicon solar cells was measured. The effect of particle size of silver powder and sintering temperature on the photoelectric properties of cells was studied. The results show that the conductive silver paste prepared by lead-free glass frit with lower softening point ( 360 ℃) displays optimal photoelectric property. The micron/nano mixed silver powders have nice conductive property. By choicing the optimum particle size of silver powder and sintering temperature, the photovoltaic conversion efficiency and fill factor of silicon solar cell can increase to 18. 68% and 76. 9%, respectively.
