Press distribution and dispensation In the Kielce Region In the years 1945-1952

Abstract

Distribution and the various factors related to press dispensation in the Kielce Provlince between 1945 and 1952 were depicted in this article. In the post-war period postmen player a significant role in press deliverance, especially in the rural areas. Press distribution was. also undertaken by political partie that paid much attention to the sale and readership of the press, especially the party press. Quite an efficient system of subscription (with elements of coercion) was organized at work places. Press distribution was also earned out by such other uhits as cooperatives, private companies until monopolization under the auspices of the State Distribution Company "Ruch" and its branches.
