Prevention of environmental problems from high school: community experience in Camagüey

Abstract
The objective of the article is to propose a system of educational activities in secondary education for the prevention of environmental problems at local level and with a community approach. To do this, methods of the theoretical level were used as analyticsynthetic and inductive-deductive to establish the theoretical and methodological foundations, while the empirical methods such as the interview, the environmental perception survey and the observation made it possible to obtain, as a result, and applied extracurricular activities in the "Silverio Blanco Núñez" and "Esteban Borrero Echevarría" secondary schools in the city of Camagüey.
