PRINCIPLES OF MORAL AND ETHICAL EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN STUDYING THE WORKS OF UKRAINIAN LITERATURE WRITERS

Abstract
Introduction. The article deals with the role of Ukrainian literature as a leading discipline in the education of moral qualities of students. Purpose. To outline the educational aspect of formation the moral and ethical values in the process of study and analysis of literary works of Ukrainian literature writers. Methods. The selection of the academic content and organization of study, research, observation. Results. The formation of the foundations of ethical education and life competencies of students during the Ukrainian literature lessons, increases interest to the discipline, to develop the ability self-consciously to solve problems in life on the principles of kindness, humanism, love and mercy. The number of students increased wishing to participate in various creative arts contests, extracurricular activities, scientific search projects. Discussion. The creation of situation of trust and success for which a young person reveals, believes in their capabilities, realizes as a creative person.
