PRINCIPLES OF SECURITY ENFORCEMENT OF PARTICIPANTS IN CRIMINAL JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS: COMPARATIVE AND LEGAL STUDY

Abstract
The article attempts to highlight the principles of constructing witness protection programs based on the study and comparison of the basic provisions of security institutions in the leading countries. The author highlights the following principles: voluntariness, social protection, specialization, autonomy, differentiation of measures, proportionality, confidentiality. The characteristic of the highlighted principles is outlined in the text with examples of their implementation. On the basis of the obtained results the National Security Institute was analyzed, suggestions for its improvement were made.
