Principles of user interface design
Journal Title: Modern Innovations, Systems and Technologies - Year 2023, Vol 3, Issue 4
Abstract
In the world of Internet commercialization, the creation of unique software has been gaining popularity for several decades in a row. And in this process an important role is played by the creation of user interfaces, which require compliance with certain rules that should ensure their success with the audience for which it is created. One of the main factors is the suitability of the interface - its intuitiveness, simplicity and uniqueness when working with a particular application and the satisfaction of the end user of the software product after achieving the goals of its use. There are some principles that can be considered universal, independent of the devices or operating systems used. The authors of this paper had a single goal - to analyze the principles formulated by leading experts in the field of systems development, preserved in international uniform standards, and on this basis to offer a list of rules grouped by various features.
