PRIVATE FINANCING OF POLITICAL PARTIES IN UKRAINE AND SOME EU MEMBER COUNTRIES: A COMPARATIVE STUDY

Abstract
The article explores private financing of political parties, its main types and tasks. The article also examines the peculiarities of the enshrinement of private funding at the statutory and regulatory levels in Ukraine, Poland, the Federal Republic of Germany and some other EU member countries. The comparative study reveals some drawbacks in the Law of Ukraine “On Political Parties in Ukraine” concerning the regulation of private financing of political parties.
