PROACTIVE MANAGEMENT AND METHODS OF THE TEAM WORKING EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENT

Abstract

Within the framework of the staff management the person-centered approach in relationship with employees is actively used. Such approach is known as proactive (preventive, precautionary) management. In the article proactive concept of staff administration was considered, which is based upon scientific-based selection of staff and its motivation, career and activity planning, personal development of the managers and employees, team work and leadership implementation, system approach towards all the components of work with the staff. The aim of the pro-active staff management is optimal use of human recourses for reaching maximum effect with normative use of time and efforts of the employees. Proactive management means heightened attention towards such psychological phenomenon as leadership. The leadership is always the question of proportion, strength of influence, which depends upon balance between personal qualities of the leader and qualities of those people, on whom he attempts to make influence and situation in the concrete group. The most important leader’s quality is not only taking decisions. His task is to organize decisions making process. In the article characteristic of moderation as method of the group approach (group work) in respect of solving problems is given. The aim of moderation is the most possible engaging all the meeting participants into all the stages of working process. In this way, optimal use of ideas and energy of the group members is ensured. Motivation of the employees is increased due to that fact that each one takes part in discussion, approval of the decision, no one’s thought is ignored, and different aspects of the problem are taken into account. Being acquainted with the procedure of moderation, as the process of increasing efficiency of team work, acquiring respective skills, needed to conduct meetings, will allow the manager to take optimal solutions of the problems.
