Probable Projectile-Target Combinations for the Synthesis of Super Heavy Nucleus 286112
Journal Title: Journal of Nuclear Physics, Material Sciences, Radiation and Applications - Year 2014, Vol 1, Issue 2
Abstract
The fusion cross sections for the reactions of all the projectile-target combinations found in the cold valleys of 286112 have been studied using scattering potential as the sum of Coulomb and proximity potential, so as to predict the most probable projectile-target combinations in heavy ion fusion reactions for the synthesis of super heavy nucleus 286112. While considering the nature of potential pockets and half lives of the colliding nuclei, the systems 82Ge + 204Hg, 80Ge + 206Hg and 78Zn + 208Pb found in the deep cold valley region and the systems 48Ca+238U, 38S+248Cm and 44Ar+242Pu in the cold valleys are predicted to be the better optimal projectile-target combinations for the synthesis of super heavy nucleus 286112.

Study of Neutron From a Dense Plasma Focus Paco Instrument by Means of Nuclear Tracks Detectors
A most interesting feature of dense plasma foci is the acceleration of charge particle at energy in the range of MeV per nucleon. Using deuterium gas, this devices produce fusion D-D reactions, generation fast neutron pu...
Nuclear Tracks Morphology Study Using Raman Methodology
In this work, a new methodology for rendering profiles of etched nuclear tracks is presented, using confocal micro-Raman spectrometry instrumentation. The precise profile of etched nuclear tracks with normal and/ or angu...
In silico Analysis of the Structural Properties of PSMA and its Energetic Relationship with Zn as Cofactor
The prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) is a 100 kDa type II transmembrane glycoprotein with enzymatic activity similar to the family of zinc-dependent exopeptidases. This protein is of great medical and pharmacolo...

Nuclear track density provides accelerator beam imaging and diagnostic employing CR-39 passive detectors. Counting charged particles related tracks by automated reading systems depend on the accuracy of microscope field...
Properties of Rotating Neutron Star
using the nuclear equation of states for a large variety of relativistic and non-relativistic force parameters, we calculate the static and rotating masses and radii of neutron stars. From these equation of states, we ev...
