PROBLEMATIC ASPECTS OF STATE REGULATION OF THE AGRO-INDUSTRIAL SECTOR

Abstract
The problem of development of the agricultural sector is of fundamental importance for the economic prosperity of Ukraine. Moreover, successful solution of the tasks of the effective development of the agricultural sector of Ukraine's economy, increase of its competitiveness, transition to an international market economy acquires not only state but also international significance. Hence, a significant role in the development of the agricultural sector is to be played by the state, carrying out industry reforms and creating favorable conditions for the efficient production of agricultural products. However, agrarian reform at the present stage does not produce the desired result, does not lead to a significant increase in the scale and efficiency of agricultural production, the rational use of its land and resource potential and, as a result, the provision of food security of Ukraine. The changes failed to stimulate the sustainable development of agricultural enterprises and to fully utilize the potential of the agro-industrial sector.
