Problematic issues for application of fire protection products for wood products preparing

Abstract
A literary review and analysis of the main directions of application of a reed was conducted, the main advantages and disadvantages of the material were identified and the necessity of its protection by fire-retardants was established. The article presents the study of the impact of various types of fire retardation and their mechanism. It was established that under the action of high temperature flame burner on fire-protected cane products that were impregnated with a composition based on fire retardants, they are capable of counteracting thermal destruction, and the evaluation of the effectiveness of fire protection is characterized by a decrease in temperature on the inner surface of the cane and the formation of a layer of foam on the surface. It is proved that it consists in the decomposition of fire retardants under the influence of temperature with the absorption of heat and the release of non-combustible gases, the formation of fly-like products on the surface of natural combustible material and thermal insulation. This made it possible to determine the fire protection conditions of the cane, by creating a barrier for thermal conductivity. Based on the obtained dependencies, it was found that the weight loss of the raw cane sample was 96.6%. Under the influence of a flame of a burner on a protected sample with a composition of fire retardants, the temperature did not reach the temperature of ignition, the temperature on the inner surface did not exceed 147 ºС, and the mass loss did not exceed 4.1%.
