The improvement of crack resistance of concrete dispersive reinforced with polypropylene fiber by technological factors

Abstract

The purpose of the work is research of the efficiency of dispersed reinforcement with polypropylene fiber to improve the concrete crack resistance according to the criteria of fracture mechanics, using mathematical planning apparatus. Characteristics of concrete strength and crack resistance were determined at 28 days during mechanical equilibrium testing of prisms with pre-established notch of normal separation on the scheme for three-point bending on special device. Fiber consumption, ratio of fiber length to the maximum diameter of the coarse aggregate and ratio of grains sliding of coarse aggregate is accepted as technological factors of influence on the effectiveness of dispersed concrete reinforcement. In this article scientifically proved the implementation results of three-factor and three-level experiment for cement concrete reinforced with polypropylene fiber with the selected technological factors of influence, statistical analysis and optimization of the research results. It is find out, at which respective ratios of selected technological factors researched characteristics of concrete reinforced with polypropylene fiber reach the maximum value.
