Abstract

Among the most obvious manifestations of the regularities of international relations, the factors of integration and disintegration became more important at the present stage of development of the world economy. The trend of integration represents a special level of interaction between States, when participants in this process alienate part of their sovereignty in favor of supranational bodies. Both tendencies of integration and disintegration reflect the objective state of the world system at this stage, the uncertain nature of its development. International economic integration is a complex of multi-level phenomena and processes, the purpose of which is not only to obtain certain benefits from economic cooperation, but also the overall development of the regions, the stabilization of economic, social and political goals. Of course, it is necessary to remember the reverse side of the IEI, which was exposed by the global financial crisis, about the growing vulnerability in the event of global economic upheaval, which can not be dealt with by the forces of one region, and sometimes by the combined efforts of the entire world community. Nevertheless, the IEI is a natural process, inseparable from the modern world economy, and the solution in this case is to deepen the integration processes, rather than isolation from the surrounding countries. The development of the integration of the Asia-Pacific region contributes to a number of prerequisites. Thus, integration processes occur most productively between countries that are approximately at the same level of economic development and have homogeneous economic systems. Another, equally important precondition is the geographical proximity of the integrating countries located in the same region and have a common border. Ability and expediency of integration is determined by the presence of strong economic ties between countries, and equally important in this respect can be the commonality of economic interests and problems, the solution of which by joint efforts can be much more effective than the other.
