Problems of complex historical and legal studies of Kievan Rus in historiography

Abstract
In the article the author analyzes the state of scientific development of the problems of complex historical and legal studies of Kievan Rus. The author analyzes the main argument of the norman and antinorman scientific theories of the origin of Russia, emphasizes the need for a multidisciplinary approach to the study of the problem. The article examines the phenomenon of the Norman factor and the integration of the Scandinavian tradition into the society of the northern and eastern Slavs.
