PROBLEMS OF DEVELOPMENT AND USE OF SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL FACILITIES IN RELATION TO DESIGN OF FACE OF UNKNOWN CRIMINAL IN CRIMINALISTICS

Abstract

The problems of development and use of innovative computer programs in relation to the construction of three-dimensional models of head and face of man, that, are examined in the article, by the state on today, did not get the unfolded scientific illumination in the literary sources of scientists of criminal lawyers. However, separate researchers however carried out the attempts of promulgation and distribution of experiments of foreign scientists with the purpose of to pay attention to workers of law enforcement authorities and home scientists necessity of further theoretical criminalistics researches and input of similar innovations for practical activity of investigator. Main payment in computer program of new generation development in relation to the construction of three-dimensional models of head and face of man belongs to the separate collectives of scientists of University of Kent (England), University of Cape Town (South Africa), University of Central Lancashire, Institute of physical and technical informatics (Russia), and University of Stirling (Scotland). Scientific and technical progress is indisputable part of development of criminalistics. One of perspective directions of increase of efficiency of investigation of criminal realizations it follows to count introduction in investigational activity of new IT. In this case, the question is about development and use of the innovative computer programs in relation to the design of face of unknown criminal, namely constructions of computer three-dimensional models of head and face (use of method of evolutional morphing) of the marked category of persons. Evolutional morphing is modern information technology that is used for creation of three-dimensional standards of face (subjective to the portrait of face of criminal), based on the construction of abstract computer model of head of person by a witness (to the victims) during creation of that the different variants of manipulations and transformations of the built computer face and head of face of criminal are possible.
