PROBLEMS OF DEVELOPMENT OF INNOVATIVE ACTIVITIES AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES

Abstract
Increasing the competitiveness of the national economy is impossible without the development of innovation support for agrarian enterprises, the activation of innovation activities in all spheres of life, which should provide positive structural changes in the economy, to remove its technological lag from leading countries of the world and to give impetus to stable economic development. This creates the need for the transition of the economy to an innovative model of operation and development. The article deals with the essence of innovation and innovation process. It is determined that the development of Ukrainian agriculture should be carried out on an innovative basis. The basic problems of development of innovation activity, which slow down development, and the process of introduction of innovations in the field of agriculture are determined. It is proved that innovation and scientific and technical activities in all spheres of the agro-industrial complex are complex and multifaceted; taking into account the peculiarities of the innovation activity of the agroindustrial complex, will increase the efficiency of its activities, develop new varieties, breeds and species of animals, ensure the stability of the extended reproduction of agro-industrial production, etc. The main causes and factors of slowing down of innovation development and agro-industrial complex are singled out and systematized. Increasing the innovative activity of agricultural producers is possible, first of all, for improving their overall financial situation, which should be directed to the priority measures of the state agricultural policy. The state can provide activation of innovation activity in the industry also under the following conditions: creation and support of associations of small farms and family farmers (in particular cooperatives) as a means of expanding the possibilities of investing such producers, promoting their scientific and technical innovations in their environment; activating the activity of state academic and branch research institutes in cooperation with agrarian enterprises and raising the awareness of agrarians in the field of innovation promotion.
