SOCIAL SPHERE UKRAINE: FACTORS AND FUNCTIONAL FEATURES OF ITS DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
Introduction. Social sphere is an important part of ensuring human life and society. Social sphere promotes human development, its abilities and self-realization, formation of a certain standard of living in a society, realization of human abilities and social interests of a person, satisfies various social needs of every citizen and society as a whole, and accordingly contributes to the restoration of human capital and the growth of the level of well-being in society. Methods. The methods of theoretical synthesis, analysis and synthesis, dialectical logic and abstract, statistics and monographic method are used in the process of the study. Results. Five groups of factors that determine the development social sphere in Ukraine, and positive and negative trends in this sphere are formulated. In particular, the institutional, organizational, economic, financial and resource, administrative, social and psychological factorsare determined. Also, positive and negative trends in the development of this area in the scientific research are identified, analyzed and specified. Discussion. Studying the experience of functioning of the social sphere of economically developed countries of the world and the possibilities of its use in the domestic economic system are the directions of further research.
