PROBLEMS OF ENSURING THE EFFICIENCY OF MODERNIZATION OF MUNICIPAL HEAT AND POWER ENGINEERING

Abstract
The article considers the question of necessity to modernize the municipal heat and power engineering of Ukraine. The technical condition of the objects of heat energy generation and transportation, their influence on the energy efficiency of the country's economy were determined. The relationship between the energy efficiency of communal heat and power engineering with the efficiency of energy consumption was determined, and modern energy efficiency measures were considered. The difficulties that prevent the effective implementation of the modernization program, the sources of funding for the program and issues requires further research.
