PROBLEMS OF EXIT FROM THE EUROPEAN UNION: UK EXPERIENCE

Abstract

The article gives the general procedure for the country's exit from the European Union, provided by Art. 50 Lisbon Treaty. The possible consequences of the UK's exit from the European Union are explored. Optimistic and pessimistic predictions about the consequences of the UK's exit from the EU are considered. The process of negotiations on withdrawal and the demands of the parties is analyzed. It is noted that there is no clear procedure for the exit of the state from the European Union, which would involve every stage of such an exit.
