PROBLEMS OF FORMATION OF THE LABOUR POTENTIAL AND PROSPECTS OF ITS DEVELOPMENT IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article is devoted to the questions of labour potential in Ukraine. The main purpose is detection of the features of labour potential formation in Ukraine and definition of the perspectives of its development in modern economic conditions. It was considered the development of labour potential at the macroeconomic level, given the characteristic of the factors of labour potential formation. The important aspect was the evaluation of unemployment of the economically active population according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine. It were identified the key problems in the effective use of labour potential on the basis of this assessment. There were proposes the ways to solve these problems and provided the evaluation of the prospects for development of labour potential in the article. In particular, it was found that the important step towards improving the state of the labour market, given the ever-increasing demands on the professional level employees and competition is the improvement of state policy. Policy of the state in this area can become more effective through: implementation of the active information policy aimed at promoting fertility, preservation and strengthening of reproductive health; development of social infrastructure that allows full and comprehensive use of accumulated labour potential, thereby contributing to the efficiency of social production.
