Problems of forming the knowledge economy in Ukraine in the context of world trends

Abstract
Annotation. The purpose of the study: to structure and define the problems of the knowledge economy in Ukraine formation in the global context. Methodology of research. The objectives of the article implemented by using the following general and specific research methods: analysis and synthesis, systematization and generalization, dialectical approach. Findings. In this context, the main problems of the development of science, education, the ICT-sector, industrial production, and the business sector are highlighted. There is a low level of innovative activity and internationalization of the knowledge sphere. Practical value. It is established that in Ukraine the innovative entrepreneurship was not formed in the necessary form. ICT sector due to the low volumes of the domestic market.
